Green Deal - The Process
We understand that applying through the different stages of the Green Deal maybe a little daunting and confusing but we at Green Deal GB are here to walk you through the process by filling out the simple form we will arrange the necessary visits and contacts you will need to benefit from the Green Deal.
REMEMBER THIS PROCESS WILL NOT COST YOU A SINGLE PENNY
Step One
By filling out the Green Deal form (click here) we will arrange for a fully accredited Green Deal assessor/adviser to visit you onsite to see how your property can benefit from energy saving measures. These measures can include Insulation (Roof and cavity/solid wall) Double Glazing windows and doors, Boiler upgrades, Draught proofing, Floor insulation, Solar PV, Solar thermal and Ground source heat pumps.
Once the assessor has visited he will be able to give you full Green Deal advice and reccomendations, He will also produce a Green Deal report and a plan for you to start acting upon.
Step Two
Within a few days of your Green Deal assessment you will be contacted by a Green Deal GB representative to make sure you have been dealt with satisfactorily and all your questions have been answered. At this point we will be looking to get you the best Green Deal provider for your needs.
The Green Deal provider is essentially is effectively the company that arrange the finance for your project. Once your Green Deal plan by the Green Deal Assessor/Adviser has been formulated it is time to instruct a Green Deal provider, here at Green Deal GB we will scour all the deals on offer from the various Green Deal providers and put you in touch with the one that offers best value to you.
You DO NOT have to use your current electricity supplier to be your Green deal provider many different companies will offer different incentives to be your Green Deal supplier these may take the form of cash incentives or free goodies, we will keep abreast of all these offers and keep you informed which is the best provider for you.
Once you have had your Green Deal assessment completed fill this form out (click here) and we will arrange your ideal Green Deal provider.
The Green Deal provider will also lay out your finance plan and give you the planned instalment rate you will pay back, this will be a monthly amount and paid back over anything up to a 25 year period.
Step Three
Almost there. Once your Green deal provider has been put into place we are ready to instruct a Green Deal accredited installer. We will be able to put you in touch with up to 3 Green Deal installers. Your installers will be on our preferred installers list ensuring you get only the finest tradesmen working on your property.
Your Green Deal installer will work from your Green Deal plan and install the agreed energy efficiency measures as laid out in your Green Deal recommendations.
The installers will be paid directly from your Green Deal Provider YOU DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY UP FRONT.
We will only ever use fully accredited Green Deal advisors, assessors, providers and installers. Your project is in safe hands with us.
